Calista & Marko
Groom Story / by the Tailors Distrct
“My name is Marko, I am Slovenian/French. My wife, Calista, is American. We live in Amsterdam together where I work as an International Sales Manager at FENTO”

“Houssine at the Tailors District perfectly understood both my needs and my bride’s wishes. In addition to the complete tailoring of the tuxedo, his assistance in choosing my shoes and accessories was crucial in ensuring the balance and harmony of our overall wedding look!”

“I always wanted a classic black tuxedo, but at the same time I was curious about having a white tuxedo jacket… So I was happy to be convinced by the Tailors District to add a white dinner jacket for the later stages of the event.”
“Don’t neglect the importance of your own wedding outfit. It doesn’t have to be all about her wedding dress! My outfit was so comfortable that I wore the full tux for over 15 hours on my wedding day (1pm to 4am). Throughout the church ceremony, photoshoot, aperitivo, the dinner and after party, I never felt like I needed to take off even my bowtie or shirt!”
Tailor’s note from Houssine the Tailors District
“Marko immediately showed interested in how things are made, and so we took the time necessary for him to understand the different fabrics, buttons, lapels, etc. Before we decided to create his tuxedo from scratch, Marko told me he only had experience with ready-to-wear suits. You can imagine the surprise and the pleasure when he could finally wear his own made-to-measure wedding tuxedo… For him, but for me as well, this certainly was a very precious and defining moment.”
